British Army officers preparing to receive a Prince
British Army officers at Chateau de Bioul in Belgium. They were preparing to receive Edward, Prince of Wales who visited the 32nd Division in the area in January 1919. The officer on the left is holding a bottle of wine, and two more in paper bags. The officer on the right is holding two freshly killed chickens. Taken between the signing of the Armistice on the 11th November 1918, and the date of Demobilisation, May 1st 1919.
