"THE PARROT"
In the first half of the cartoon a young politician is shown standing up in the Commons during WWI claiming that the country has reached the extreme crisis of the war'. In the second half the same man is shown as an aged gentleman in the year 19**? still saying the same thing, with the artist suggesting that a pessimist will always be a pessimist
