Each image shows him holding his had up to fun, gambling, drinking, dancing, golf, cards, racing, fun and frolics, merry moments, billiards, can-can, romance, smoking a pipe, driving, and the devil himself. The last image shows him sitting on a wind-fall of tax returns. Bateman regularly based his cartoons on the themes of tax and the inland revenue
