Telegraph House notice, home of Bertrand Russell
Telegraph House notice -- private road, please drive slowly, children, no right of way. The house was constructed on the site of a West Sussex semaphore-station. It was the home of Bertrand Russell (1872-1970) and Dora (his second wife), and the location of their progressive Beacon Hill School, established in 1927
