The Esquires of the Knights Companions
The Esquires of the Knights Companions of the Order of the Bath. In 1725 John Pine asked Joseph Highmore to make 20 drawings for engravings of the Most Honourable Military Order of the Bath. The formal ceremony celebrating the installation of knights conferred by King George II was held at Westminster Abbey on 17 June 1725
