The Prince of Wales (later King George IV (1820-30)). Whole length wearing an embroidered coat with Garter star and holding a whip. The decorative border includes the Prince of Wales's feathers, allegorical figures and the royal coat of arms. Plate from Barnard's New Complete and Authentic History of England, 1781-3
