The King's Dressing Room, Windsor Castle
In the reign of King Charles II, this room served as the King's Little Bedchamber. It originally had a decorative ceiling by Antonio Verrio but this was later painted over by Matthew Cotes Wyatt with scenes from the life of St George. This illustration was published in W H Pyne's The History of the Royal Residences, which appeared in three volumes in 1819, depicting the royal palaces as they appeared in the reign of King George III (1760-1820)
