The Plenipotentiary or Turkish Minister, wearing a jewelled and feathered turban, causes much amusement at court. He looks down at the fat Lady Buckinghamshire; she gazes up at him with both hands raised in astonishment, while behind him Mrs Fitzherbert holds up his robes as if to inspect it
