The Queen's Drawing Room, Kensington Palace

This room is now known as the Queen's Drawing Room. In the early 19th-century it was called the Admiral's Gallery after the portraits of admirals that were hung here. This illustration was published in W H Pyne's The History of the Royal Residences, which appeared in three volumes in 1819, depicting the royal palaces as they appeared in the reign of King George III (1760-1820)
