Stained-glass window, Tower of London
The White Tower. The Chapel of St John the Evangelist. Detail of a stained-glass window. The stained glass was once part of the collection of Sir Horace Walpole and most of it was originally from Walpole's Round Drawing Room at Strawberry Hill. It came to the Tower after it was bought in the great auction of his collection in 1842 and was installed in the chapel in the late 19th century
