Zeppelin-Staaken VGO R III giant German biplane
Zeppelin-Staaken VGO R III, serial no. 10/15, giant German biplane, the only one built. It went into operational use near Riga in Latvia, making its first operational sortie on 13 August 1916. Because of its size, its speed was relatively slow, at a maximum of 75 mph
