Sarcofagus following a crystalline style (Roman art), 4th c. It was Alfonso III the Great's sarcofagus. From left to right, the scenes are: 1. - The resurrection of Lazarus, 2. - The arrest of Saint Peter the Apostle, guarded by two soldiers, 3.- The Miracle of the Spring: Saint Peter, while imprisoned, makes water pouring out from a rock in order to christen two soldiers, who before were watching on him and then kneeled and drank, 4.- Adam and Eve with the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, 5.- The Feeding of the 5000, 6.- The Sacrifice of Abraham.
