SERRANO Y DOMINGUEZ, Francisco (1810-1885). Spanish military man and politician, leader of the Union Liberal (Liberal Union). He chaired the provisional government of 1868 and next year the Cortes (Parliament) appointed him as regent till the election of the new monarch.
