Weingarten near Ravensburg, Baden-Wuerttemberg: Benedictine Monastery (founded in 1053). Organ with an interior view of the largest Baroque church north of the Alps (100 m long, 66 m high), built starting in 1715. The Holy-Blood Altar with the blood relic (Legend has it that a soldier named Longinus gathered some Golgota soil soaked with Christ's blood) makes Weingarten a much-visited pilgrims destination.
