German chemist Dr. Arthur Eichengruen. (Inventor of incombustible film). He was by his own statement (but without proof) the inventor of acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) - the active ingredient in many pain pills. The plastic Cellon was also developed by him. About 1928. Photograph
