Train of Europe in Klagenfurt 1952
The Train of Europe arrives in Klagenfurt on 8 July. Here it will be overhauled and newly decorated for its journey through Austria. Mr. Acker (Deputy Chief from Norway) - Mr. Demer (Management, Denmark) - Mr. Roddam (Purser, Great Britain) - Mr. Bortolotti (Railway Officer, France) and Mr. Portneuve (Chief Engineer, France).The Train of Europe was funded by the OEEC and consisted of five carriages showing the progress of Europe since World War II. It represented the works of artists and technicians and workers from 14 countries. The staff comes from nine European countries.8 July 1952. Photograph
