Maureen O?Sullivan in Hold That Kiss (1938)

Hyacinth blue silk jersey was adapted by Dolly Tree in this frock designed for Maureen O?Sullivan in Hold That Kiss (1938). The directoire influence was strong in the draped bodice and puffed sleeves, the double waistline was snugly fitted; the skirt was gathered for fullness. The bonnet was of hyacinth blue straw with brim clusters of lilies of the valley and a black tie of black velvet. Matching blue suede gloves, shoes and envelope bag of hyacinth blue silk jersey completed the ensemble
