Myrna Loy in Evelyn Prentice (1934)
An East Indian note was caught in this model, inspired by the costume of the Brahman designed by Dolly Tree for Myrna Loy in Evelyn Prentice (1934). The entire outfit was created in black velvet lined with gold lam. A long coat buttoned down the front with small black buttons and was trimmed with gold lam. It was knee--length and fitted to the waist, flaring slightly from that point to the hemline, and had a high standing collar. The skirt was one of the new wraparound models, fitted to the figure and very tight around the ankles. A large silver fox wrap completed the ensemble. The hat was of black velvet and matching gloves, bag and shoes were in black
