Myrna Loy in Manproof (1937)
This long-sleeved dinner gown was a favourite with Myrna Loy. Designed by Dolly Tree for Manproof (1937), it did not appear in the film. It was created in wine red velvet with banding of gold kid outlined in gold metal beads. The low square neckline could be transformed into a drop shoulder effect, if desired
