Lee Trevino, the American British Open Golf Champion in 1972, holding aloft the famous Claret Jug ('The Golf Champion Trophy'), awarded to the winner of the tournament since 1872. The Championship was held at the famous links course at Muirfield, Gullane, East Lothian, Scotland between 12th-15th July 1972
