Waterloo, Belgium - the ruined chapel and the Hougoumont farmhouse, a site of heavy fighting during the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815. The farm and chapel were set on fire when they were taken by the French from British forces during the battle. The farmhouse was restored on the 200th anniversary of the battle
