View of the Admiralty Building in Leningrad (St Petersburg), Russia, with St Isaac Cathedral visible in the distance. The Admiralty is located at the western end of the Nevski Prospekt, and was completed in 1823. The cathedral was dedicated to St Isaac of Dalmatia, a patron saint of Peter the Great. Construction began in 1818 and was completed in 1858
