Execution of arsonists, Moscow
When Napoleon invaded Moscow, most of the inhabitants left, and fires broke out and destroyed the city. Although it is still unclear who started the fires (and they could have been accidental), a few arsonists were rounded up and executed by Napoleon's soldiers. ~~
