Monument to Mikhail Skobelev, Moscow, Russia
View of the monument to Mikhail Dmitrievich Skobelev (1843-1882), Russian General involved in the conquest of Central Asia and in the Russo-Turkish War (1877-78). His early death from a heart attack was a great loss to the Russian Army. After his death this monument was erected opposite Moscow City Hall. This photograph was taken in winter, with an aesthetic looking sprinkling of snow on the monument
