Emily Kaye (1890-1924), murder victim. Her remains, together with her two-month-old foetus, were discovered in a beach house at The Crumbles, a shingle beach between Eastbourne and Pevensey Bay, Sussex, in 1924. Her married lover, Patrick Mahon, was tried, convicted and executed for the crime
