Reverend Harold Francis Davidson (1875-1937), Rector of Stiffkey, Norfolk, nicknamed The Prostitutes Padre for his involvement in the rescue of young women whom he considered to be in danger of falling into vice. Because of a few compromising situations and photographs, he was convicted of immorality and defrocked in 1932
