A car owned by a Negro is overturned by a mos of white meant at the height of race riots precipitated in Detroit when a Negro allegedly slapped a white woman. After 24 hours of rioting during which police fired at groups of would be murders, the military took over and restored peace, m but only after 25 had died and more than 300 had been injured
