Aug. 08, 1950 - Laddered: Meet Claire Gordon, Britain's answer to Brigitte Bardot who is currently helping to make Beat Girl, a film with a Soho Striptease and rebellious youth background, at MGM's Elstree studios in Hertfordshire. The film stars David Farrar as a wealthy and successful architect (Claire is his newly hired French maid in the film), Noelle Adam (of Sagan's Broken Date ballet fame) as his second wife, and Gillian Hills, the 16 year old Bayswater schoolgirl whom Roger Vadim hailed as a second Bardot (the first was his wife).
