Mar. 03, 1953 - British screen star gives check for Eastern refugee fund in Berlin.: James Mason the British screen star who is working on the new Carol Redd film The Berlin Story - in Western Berlin handed over a cheque for a quarter of a million marks to Professor Ernst Reuter the Governing Town Major. The gift, which comes from the International Rescue Committee, whose leaders are john McCloy, former High Commissioner in Germany and General Lu D.
