It is their first visit together since he shot and wounded her Hollywood agent Jennings Lang. Three years ago. After the shooting they separated. Now happily reunited they will go to the Edinburgh Festival for the showing of Wanger's film Cell Block II Which grew out of his own term in prison for the shooting.
