Aug. 24, 1954 - French girl to star in Can-Can': The French stage and TV star, Irene Hilda, arrived in London today, to commence rehearsals for the star part in the new musical Can-Can, which opens at the London Colliseum on October 14th. Opposite her will be Edmund Hockridge, now playing in Guys and Dolls at the Coliseum.
