Jul. 07, 1953 - Sir Laurence Olivier Robber: Notley Abbey, Buck nghemshire, Vivien Leigh was robbed early yesterday. Thieves carried a ladder from the Abbey barn and used at to climb into the Oliviers bedroom window - and stole furs and jewellery valued at about ?5, 000 Vivian Liegh, who has been making good progress after her breakdown in March - is suffering from shock as result of the robbery - and spent yesterday in bed.
