Dec. 12, 1953 - Opening of the New Stagesat Shepperton Three new stages, fully equipped and forming self contained units with dressing and make up rooms, were opened today by Miss Margaret Leighton at Shepperton, which now becomes the largest, most modern working studio in the U.K. Photo Shows: James Mason offers Hildegaard Neff, the German film star, a cigarette at the opening today. They are at present taking part in the film Berlin Story, which is being made at the Shepperton studios
