Jun. 06, 1955 - Japanese Lovely to star in British Film, Keiko Kishi the Darling of the east: Twenty two year old Japanese Actress Miss Keiko Kishi has been signed up by David Lean the British film producer to star in his new film The Wind Cannot Read, which is to be made with an Indian background standing only 5ft 4in in height, Keiko rise to fame has been rapid since she won the Best Actress award in the recent Second South East Asia film festival in Singapore. She cannot speak English and is looking for a good tutor to teach her the language in time for the film the shooting of which begins early next year in India and London.
