Feb. 02, 1958 - Reception for Don Ameche: A reception was held this afternoon at Television House, Kingsway, for the famous American film star Don Ameche, who is over here specially to appear in television. He is one of the top attractions on the bill of Sunday Night at the London Palladium on Sunday (February 9th) and on Saturday, February 18th, he will take part in the special show, Manny Happy Returns, which is being presented to mark the second anniversary of commercial television from the Midlands.
