Feb. 02, 1959 - 12-2-59 Frankie Vaughan in the ring at Pinewood One of the most unusual sequences ever shot at Pinewood Studios, was filmed today for the new Anna Neagle production for the Rank Organization The Heart of a Man, which stars Frankie Vaughan, Anne Heywood and Tony Britton. The sequence was a full-scale Variety Club of Great Britain Charity Boxing Tournament, which Frankie Vaughan went several rounds with Pinewood fight expert, Rupert Evans. The referee was world featherweight champion Hogan Kid Bassey.
