Feb. 01, 1956 - Evening-Gala in Cortina. Anything on legs assembled yesterday afternoon in Miramonti Hotel in Cortina for a huge gala evening. Sophia Loren was invited at the guest of honor and all the VIPs royally amused themselves. Sophia Loren withdrew to her room after two hours though. She also took a bottle of champaigne with her, and it was noted that her most eager dance partner Raf Vallone, was nowhere to be found in the ball room shortly thereafter
