Dec. 16 Rome, 18th, December 1962 In the studios of Cinecitta, Capucine, the beautiful former French mannequin, together with a cast of famous actors and actresses, in starring in the film The Pink Panther an American production directed by Blake Edwards. Peter Sellers the English ramous comic actor, David Niven, American Robert Wagner and our young actress Claudia Cardinale are among the selected cast of the film. Capucine whose beauty is famous all over the world, began her cinematographic career only two years ago, when she was noticed by a fashion cameraman who decided to make her a star. The film tells the story of a diamond called The Pink Panther that arrives in Europe from India, through an Indian Princess (Cardinale) and after a series of comic accidents ends in the pocket of an Inspector of Police (Peter Sellers)
