Feb. 26 World's Largest Snail Produced. What is believed to be the world's largest snail has been created by Hollywood film makers. Of enormous proportions the creature known as the Great Pink Snail is an important character in the new film based on the famous children's classic titled Dr. Dolittle'. In the story, the snail rescues Dr. Dolittle (played by Rex Harrison) and his party from an exotic island and carries them back on a voyage to England.
