1960-1969 Actor - Actress
1962 - Well, I'm hanged ! : They hanged 1962's brightest star yesterday: Albert Finney, to the Tyburn of 1745. But it wasn't Marble Arch; it was Bridgport, Dorset. And they were only making a film of Henry Fielding's classic Tom Jones'. Albert was strung up - and then, true to the tale, rescued by a horseman with a knife and rides away to freedom and his love. The film costs half a million pounds to produce. Quite an expensive way to half-hang an actor of such promise. Photo shows Help ! Albert wails as he is hanged to the Tyburn, watched by an angry crowd of local villagers who made the extras
