Feb. 18, 1960 - 18-2-60 Nancy Kwan takes over the star role in the film version of The World of Suzie Wong Actress Nancy Kwan, the daughter of a Hong Kong architect and former English model Marquita Scott, who has never been seen on the screen, has been given the star role in Paramount £1, 000, 000 film version of the play The World of Suzie Wong. She is to star opposite actor William Holden. Miss Kwan takes over the part from Broadway actress France Nuyen, who withdrew from the part through illness.
