May 05, 1960 - Sir Laurence Olivier seeks divorce?: According to reports from New York it has been stated that Sir Laurence Olivier is seeking a divorce from his wife Vivien Leigh in order to marry Miss Joan Plowright. He is 53 and is at present starring in a London play Rhinoceros Miss Leigh is starring on Broadway in the Duel of Angels. She is 46. Miss Plowright is 28 and played the part of Sir Laurence's daughter in the stage and film versions of The Entertainer'.
