One of the more unusual scenes in the Italian film The Rape of Sabines currently being made at Rome is the sequence where two statues - Mars (Jean Marais) and Venus (Rosanna Schiaffino) - comets life to engage in a sharp an satirical debate as to whether Love or War are most important. The debate is listened to by Romulus (British actor Roger Moore) who has gone to the Temple of Venus to pray.
