Feb. 02, 1962 - Spanish film Viridiana also comes to Germany: The film Viridiana by Spanish master film-director Luis Bunuel, which was awarded the Great Prize of Cannes 1969, will now also be shown in Germany. Because of its theme - problems of genuine charity - the film was much discussed and even pro-hibited in some countries. In Germany, it will be shown in its original length.
