1960-1969 Actor - Actress

Aug. 11, 1962 - Actress Nancy Kwan, whose name remains linked to Suzie Wong, the name of a character she played, is in Paris right now filming scenes in Paris for her new movie Tahamine'. The movie, which is directed by Philip Leacock, is an adaptation of a book of the same title by Thelma Niklaus. The story is about a young girl from the island of Rotawa in the Pacific Ocean who goes to live with her uncle in London. Even though Nancy Kwan wears a sarong at the beginning of the movie, she wears ravishing Parisian ensembles throughout the rest of the movie. Here is a picture of Nancy Kwan filming a scene on the Champs-Elysees with Coral Browne (right)
