She plays the part of the playgirl movie wife of Kirk Douglas and joins the cast of other very famous stars. The actress arrived in America six years ago from Germany and picked tomatoes on a California farm to repay money advanced for her passage. Hugh O'Brian also stars in the film for which he takes no salary. Instead, at O'Brian's request, Otto Preminger donated a generous sum to two charitable organisations sponsored by film stars to help mentally defective children.
