Sep. 09, 1965 - Edwardian Heir returns - with the most Beautiful Mother in the world.: It was a great occasion at Castle Howard/ Chambermaids, butlers, footman turned out in troupes - no shortage of staff here - to see the returned of the baby heir brought by his master father - and with him his ex-trollop who had been no better than she should but had had her honour given back to he when the the baby's father put the ring on her finger. But this was no ordinary trollop mother. It was Sophia Loren. And the whole set-up wasn't a slip through tine into the past, but part of the shooting of the new film Lady L starring Sophia Loren in the name part, near Malton in Yorkahar. David Niven plays the father, the Lord of the manor who marries beneath jim.And the baby hair was played gurgingly by 9-month-old Andrew Gillis, son of one of the staff(modern) of Castle Howard. He shows no ae as he was dandle in the arms of some of today's top stars. Castle Howard has been lnt for filming by Mr. George and Lady Ccill Howard. And when not shooting, Sophia Loren staying at the ten- bedroomed home of Major Michael Willoughby who has moved out cut to accommodate her.
