Dec. 03, 1962 - Actor Receives Kidnapping Threat.. If He Plays Role of Dead Gangster In New Film. American actor Cameron Mitchell has received threats from gangsters - who say that his young son Cameron Jr. will be kidnapped - if he goes ahead with the plans to play the part of Lucky Luciano - the infamous Italo-American gangster who died in Naples last year. It is planned for Cameron Mitchell to play the star role in the film which is being made in Rome. Lucky himself is said to have approved the script of the film - before he died.
