1960-1969 Actor - Actress

Oct. 10, 1965 - Actress who posed in the nude to star with Sir Laurence Olivier. Actress Carol Lynley, is not what you would call a self-conscious young woman. Last month for instance, she posed nude for an American magazine - and was delighted at the stir she caused. But she admits she was a bundle of nerves when she learned she was to star with Sir Laurence Olivier. Carol and Sir Laurence are appearing together in a thriller called Bunny Lake is Missing, which is being directed by Otto Preminger. Carol said: Sir Laurence has always been my girlhood hero. Now, here I am filming with him - scared stiff. Carol did not think Sir Laurence the sort of a man who would read the type of magazine that printed her nude study. Not that I'm ashamed of the picture, or anything like that, she said. I just got fed up with my image of being a good little girl. I just want to play a real woman. Too many of my parts have been cardboard. cut-outs. Lovely little girls. I'm 22 - a woman, Ive been married and divorced and I've got a daughter of three.
