Jul. 07, 1966 - The Shrimp Has Film Part: Britain's best-known model, Jean Shrimpton is to break into films. A reception was held in London yesterday to launch the Shrimp - as an actress, Her co-star will be pop-singer the Manfred Mann group - I've had several offers from Hollywood, said Jean, but they-were glamour walk- on parts - and I felt that wasn't the way to go into films'. The new film will be called Priilege in which she will play an artist. I'm not giving up modelling, she said. I have turned to acting, because that's what my instint tells me.
